FAQ/Tip: Resume Distribution Email or Fax?
[ back to FAQ, Tips ]

Good question, email is by far cheaper, but Fax generally generates significantly more results.  With the amount of email received daily by recruiters many are deleted, most just go automatically into a massive database.

When faxed, your personalized documents convey an immediate message to the executive recruiters.  Your first contact, the faxed cover letter and resume, receives immediate attention and is generally delivered to the appropriate recruiter.

The costs to transmit a resume by email are very low.  The low costs to send are very tempting for the average job seeker.  Due to the massive inflow of these resumes, you can only assume that few, if any, of the thousands will be read by a firm from whom you might actually benefit.  Email resume distribution may accomplish the goal of getting you into the recruiters' resume databases.  Your end goal, however, is not merely to get into the database of recruiters, but to get your resume read by them.  That goal alone would require a subsequent resume database keyword search by the executive recruiter using precisely matched terms to retrieve your file before a recruiter could notice you enough to warrant follow-up communication.

In our opinion the Best and most cost effective Fax resume distribution service on the market today is:
